Residential conversion kits — the complete setup for a home oven

It’s a kit, not just a stone. A residential conversion kit pairs the stone with the tools and instructions that make stone-baked cooking work from the first bake.

What ships with a residential kit

Every kit ships with installation and positioning instructions, first-use and warm-up instructions, operating and recommended-use guidance, care and cleaning instructions, moisture-management instructions, and guarantee documentation — plus access to BSCK support after purchase.

Physical contents vary by configuration — commercial, residential, BBQ, and custom orders. Published contents are always stated for the specific configuration being offered.

The procedure is the difference

A stone with no instructions is a guess. The kit’s procedure — cold start, proper warm-up, moisture management, and care — is published in full in the support section, and it is the operating practice the guarantee stands on.

What to cook first

Pizza, flatbreads, naan and pita, bread, calzones, quesadillas, grilled cheese, garlic bread, toasted sandwiches — the what-to-cook guide covers the foods that improve most and why.

The BSCK 24-month limited guarantee

Your BSCK Stone is guaranteed against cracking under normal oven operation for 24 months from delivery, provided it has been installed, operated, handled, and stored in accordance with the instructions supplied with your kit.

Conditions of the guarantee

  • Always bring the stone up from a room-temperature oven. Never place a cold stone into a preheated oven.
  • Allow 30 to 45 minutes for the stone to reach operating temperature before loading food.
  • Allow the stone to cool gradually in the oven. Do not remove it hot or cool it with forced air or liquid.
  • Keep water and ice off a hot stone. When adding steam, place the water pan on the oven floor, never in contact with the stone.
  • Keep wet and greasy items off the stone surface — use a pan, cookie sheet, parchment, or foil.
  • Never place the stone directly on a heating element or in direct contact with open flame. Grills and open-flame applications require a metal flame diverter.
  • Maintain approximately one inch of clearance on all sides for airflow.
