Can your oven be converted to a stone oven?

Most compatible ovens can be — but compatibility cannot be assumed from a brand name. Oven model, internal dimensions, thickness, support surface, airflow, clearance, weight capacity, operating temperature, and intended use all matter.

A brand appearing on any list does not guarantee that every model is compatible. Compatibility is confirmed per oven, using your model, your measurements, and your intended use — never assumed from the badge on the door.

What the review actually checks

Compatibility is reviewed before a quote is approved, so sizing risk is removed before money is spent rather than discovered during service.

Temperature is rarely the constraint — contact is

The material handles the full range of standard commercial oven operating temperatures, including high-heat pizza applications. The real constraint is contact, not temperature: never place a stone directly on a heating element or in direct contact with open flame, keep approximately one inch of clearance on all sides for airflow, and use a metal flame diverter for grill and open-flame applications.

Measure first, then ask

The sizing guide shows how to measure your rack and calculate the maximum stone size in two subtractions. Bring those measurements to the quote form along with the oven model, photographs, support details, operating temperature, and intended use so the full review can be completed.
